This project's purpose was to view type as more than a tool used in the practicality of daily life. Typeface has many intricate details that often go unnoticed. The goal here was to focus in on those tasty bits of various fonts and create a 24 in x 39 in poster, using type as the medium. I created a version in black and then experimented with the use of CMY colors to fill the type, and overprinting them to create secondary colors as well.

Because of the abstract nature of this piece it could be displayed on a myriad of objects. This is a mockup of my color piece used on the dust jacket, of a book.
